The Daily Scoop

About 20 years ago I ran sales for a ski area in NJ. Somehow I was connected with a group that brought about 100 inner-city kids to our ski area for 3 days of skiing. I'll never forget the joy on these kids faces as they slid and tumbled down the hill. And just recently I learned of the Share Winter Foundation that is doing this same work. (Might have even been the same group from all those years ago!?!) Their mission is  to improve the lives, health, and fitness of youth through winter sports. This year their grants will get 32,000 kids outside, with the goal of 100,000 annually by 2028. I never imagined such a scope, and I support their goal in a big way!
